Carbon fiber, one of the materials of choice for composite tubes, exhibits superior
bending strength, flexural strength and stiffness. Although such exotic materials
typically result in high-priced final products, these carbon fiber composite tubes are
cost competitive with current aluminum designs due to our automated manufacturing process
and years of experience with filament winding. |
